Summer Roses

The 'Roses Grow On You - Photo Manipulated Roses Challenge' - has just concluded, and my image, The Heat Of The Sun,  was selected as a Challenge Finalist.  The image is in the top row, first on the left.  Probably an image that most are familiar with, but I am still proud that it was included in the really lovely group of finalists.

Pretty In Pink

My Perkins Rosebud image was selected as a finalist in the Pretty In Pink-Selectively Colored Challenge, that concluded this morning.  My Perkins Rose is seen in the bottom right.  I always love to see the results of the various images that have selective coloring like those in this Challenge. Striking and pretty.

Pretty Card

©FD - Tiger Tangle

I was so happy to find that my image Tiger Tangle was selected as a feature today in Gorgeous Flower Cards.
I am especially happy to see it rewarded because this Tiger Lily plant disappeared from the garden about a year ago under mysterious circumstances - never to be seen again!

© - FD - Solo

My image, Solo, has been chosen as a permanent feature in the Every Day Women Group and is currently on display in the group's gallery.

Sometimes things just happen, and this rose suddenly appeared in the leaves all by itself. I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a photo of it.  I'm happy I did!

Hydrangea Time

My favorite Hydrangea image - Deep Sense - was voted as a Top Ten Finalist in the Backyard Macro and Closeup Challenge of Hydrangeas.  What a pretty and colorful collection of a favorite summer flower. Deep Sense can be seen in the middle row, far left.
